  • What materials are suitable for smart locks?

    A Smart locks are suitable for common metal security doors and wooden doors, but not for glass doors without frames.

  • What should I do if the face recognition of the smart lock fails?

    A There are several reasons for the failure of face recognition in smart locks, including：
    1. Installation factors
    Failure to tear off the protective film: Failure to tear off the protective film in time can cause unlocking failure of the lock after a long period of time.
    2. Environmental factor
    （1）Light conditions: Face recognition technology is greatly affected by light conditions, and too strong or too weak light may affect the recognition effect.
    （2）Face occlusion: Wearing masks, hats, glasses, or having hair covering the face may lead to recognition failure.
    （3）Angle and distance: The angle and distance between the user's face and the camera are not appropriate, which can also affect the accuracy of recognition.

    Solution
    1. Remove the protective film. When installing the lock, remove the protective film of the lock's face recognition module as soon as possible. As shown in the following figure：

    2、Optimize the installation location to ensure moderate lighting and avoid direct sunlight.
    3、Prompt users to remove any facial occlusions when using the device.

  • How to determine whether there is a heaven and earth hook?

    A A door with a "Heaven and Earth" hook not only has the usual lock opening and closing functions, but also has upper and lower lock tongues on the side or at the top and bottom of the door, which lock the upper door frame and lower bottom frame respectively. Some door locks on the market do not have a "Heaven and Earth" hook, so users need to confirm whether the lock has a "Heaven and Earth" hook before installing it。
    Judgment method：
    1. Touch the top edge of the door with your hand to see if there is a lock hole；
    2. Is there a lock tongue popping out from the top edge of the door when the lock body is in the open state.




  • How to determine the size of the door frame gusset plate?

    A The side buckle plate is a panel exposed outside the groove on the door frame for buckling the lock tongue. The measurement method is the same as that of the guide plate. It is worth noting that the side buckle plate of the door lock is divided into different directions due to different opening directions of the door.



  • How to determine the thickness of the door?

    A To avoid the door body being too thin or too thick to install, it is necessary to confirm the thickness of the door body before installation. Generally, smart door locks can be installed on doors with a thickness of between 38mm and 120mm。

  • How to determine the direction of opening the door？

    A The opening direction of the door is divided into left-side opening, left-side closing, right-side opening, and right-side closing. Depending on the opening direction, it is necessary to adjust the direction of the electronic lock handle before installation, or even replace the electronic lock with a fixed direction. Therefore, it is essential for users to confirm the opening direction of the door before installing the smart door lock。

  • How to measure the size of the guide plate?

    A The guide plate refers to the panel exposed on the side of the lock body on the door panel. The dimensions of different types of lock body guide plates vary, and it is necessary to confirm the dimensions of the old lock guide plate before replacing the lock。
    Measuring method：
    Place the tape measure against the edge of the guide plate, aligning it with the guide plate, with your line of sight perpendicular to the surface of the plate, and record the dimension data.
